MUSEUM NIGHT

Fluid and its infinite nuances

For this edition, the Olsommer Museum is collaborating with the Ecole de Couture du Valais and street art creator Art Valais. Resonating with the PLURI-ELLES exhibition and its symbols, this poetic evening will unfold under the sign of fluidity: that of water, of the feminine or of a fabric.

Program

18:00 and continuous

From fountain to museum

A visual and sound projection by Art Valais, on the Place des Artistes in Veyras, for a meditative experience in the wild waters of the region (video creator Clara Grabowiecki, sound art Angelo Repetto, C. Bille by Carole Epiney).

From 7 to 107 years old, fish for symbols in the square’s fountain, and set off on a poetic nocturnal treasure hunt towards the museum.

From painting to fabric

Presentation by each Ecole de Couture collective of a headdress in fabric and ornaments, sewn and inspired by the women in some of the works in the exhibition. Interventions followed by commentary on selected paintings by the museum’s curator. (Registration required, 4 x 30 min.)
