Im Herzen der Sport Arena in Leukerbad wurde ein gro\u00dfes Mural mit dem Titel ‘Waves & Wild’ geschaffen, das den Pump Park umwandelt. Das Kunstwerk ist fast 150m\u00b2 gro\u00df und verbindet die Energie der Stadt mit der majest\u00e4tischen Natur. <\/p>\n
Das Mural besteht aus zwei verschiedenen Teilen, die jeweils von Schweizer und internationalen Graffiti-K\u00fcnstlern gestaltet wurden. Der Hauptteil ist das Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit von Tymour Azzam, Bandi und Alain Dumont von der EP-Crew und nutzt die flie\u00dfenden Bewegungen des Wildstyle-Graffiti, um die Dynamik des Pump Parks zu symbolisieren. Wie eine Farblawine ergie\u00dft sich eine imposante Welle \u00fcber die Wand und erinnert sowohl an die Allgegenwart des Wassers in Leukerbad als auch an die Kraft der nat\u00fcrlichen Elemente. Leichte, glitzernde Blasen blitzen im Verlauf des Kunstwerks auf und erinnern an den beruhigenden Strudel des Thermalwassers, w\u00e4hrend sie der Komposition einen Hauch von Leichtigkeit und Vitalit\u00e4t verleihen. <\/p>\n
Als Kontrapunkt setzt der portugiesische K\u00fcnstler Virus sein Zeichen auf der angrenzenden Wand. Seine wei\u00dfen, massiven und stilisierten Graffiti-Buchstaben heben sich von einem Hintergrund ab, der reich an auff\u00e4lligen und futuristischen Details ist. Die Kaskade von Elementen l\u00e4dt zur Erkundung einer fesselnden Landschaft ein. Dieser Teil der Komposition schlie\u00dft das Werk ab und schl\u00e4gt eine visuelle Br\u00fccke zwischen der alpinen Umgebung und der Urbanit\u00e4t des Ortes. <\/p>\n
Waves & Wild’ verk\u00f6rpert perfekt die Verschmelzung von Stadt und Wildnis und f\u00e4ngt das Wesen von Leukerbad ein. Dieses pulsierende Kunstwerk feiert die Bewegung, das Wasser und die Kraft und zeigt die harmonische Koexistenz von Sport, Wellness und Natur, die f\u00fcr diesen alpinen Ort charakteristisch ist. <\/p>\n
