A native of Mauritius, MODE 2 is a major artist in global Hip Hop culture, and a pioneer of post-New York graffiti. In 1985, he initiated the creation of The Chrome Angelz (TCA) crew and has had a considerable influence on figurative art. He excelled at depicting characters, and gained notoriety when he was published on the cover of “Spraycan Art” in 1987.

Already working on canvas, he began exhibiting his art pieces in galleries in 1995 and is now a major player on the international contemporary scene. The harmony that emerges from his compositions highlights the link between artistic disciplines, all of which come together in a culture that goes far beyond the name Hip Hop. MODE 2 is the icon of an aesthetic of movement, interweaving and rhythm.

1010 (pronounced TenTen) is a Hamburg-based contemporary artist known for his enigmatic street art illusions on walls around the world. Of Polish origin, he moved to Germany with his parents at the age of eight. For over a decade, he has been painting walls and creating paper cut-outs.

In recent years, he has concentrated on the abstract concept of making “holes in walls”, creating art pieces of urban illusions that resemble portals to other worlds. Although his identity is shrouded in mystery, this only adds to the magical, adventurous aspect of his art. Born in 1979, 1010 is considered one of Germany’s most renowned urban artists, thanks to his “Abyss Serie”, which instantly catches the eye as every color, shape and detail has been carefully chosen and strategically placed to create a precise visual effect.
