Switzerland

Rosalie Evard (b. 1994, Couvet) lives and works between Neuchâtel and Valangin. Trained at the Académie de Meuron and the École Jean-Sablé in Versailles, she develops a figurative pictorial practice centered on portraiture. Drawing on her research and digital collages made from found or personal images, she composes acrylic and oil paintings where identities fragment and reassemble in scenes with surreal overtones.

Her work has been presented at the La Chaux-de-Fonds Biennale, Galerie Lange et Pult, and Panart. Constantly evolving, her practice is shaped by the contexts she encounters. In 2024, a residency in Berlin marked a turning point; she continues this momentum in spring 2025 with Art Valais, immersed in the Alpine landscape.

Askew

New Zealand

Reared in the Aotearoa New Zealand graffiti scene, Elliot O’Donnell or Askew One (as he is widely known), has forged a career that spans decades, continents and creative approaches; from graffiti to design, gallery exhibitions to mural works, illustration to video production. A self-taught multi-disciplinary artist, O’Donnell’s artistic trajectory emerged amidst the multi-cultural melting pot of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, the capital of the South Pacific and New Zealand’s largest urban centre; the surrounding environment and diverse cultural influences providing an enduring impact. From these local roots, O’Donnell’s international reputation has grown through collaborations, commissions and exhibitions. Currently residing in Portland, Oregon with his wife and daughter, he has cemented a legacy as one of Aotearoa’s most successful post-Millennial creative exports.

Seeing graffiti as a kind of alchemy where art is created from basic means, O’Donnell immersed himself in the style writing culture in his early teens, beginning a life-long entanglement that remains his most consistent influence. From organising Auckland’s first graffiti festival to establishing a number of exhibition spaces, publishing the graffiti magazine Disrupt and authoring InForm : New Zealand Graffiti Artists Discuss Their Work (Reed Books, Auckland, 2007), the first significant book on Aotearoa graffiti culture, O’Donnell has been at the forefront of New Zealand graffiti for three decades, as an artist, organiser and public advocate.. O’Donnell’s artistic evolution has, in many ways, mirrored the maturation of New Zealand urban art, embracing mural and studio work as extensions of his graffiti roots and seeking new pathways and themes.

Absorbing influences, exploring ideas and pushing boundaries, O’Donnell’s art has constantly evolved, revisiting and refining ideas through new filters and re-evaluating process and purpose with an insatiable curiosity. His investigation of letterforms has served as both an ongoing discussion around graffiti’s long-held traditions, while also revealing new directions beyond those foundational parameters, manifesting as studies for paintings, murals, animations, and sculptures. O’Donnell’s expansive post-graffiti practice has explored portraiture, text, abstraction, and investigations of the urban environment, constantly balancing aesthetic and conceptual concerns. The use of technology has been a central feature of O’Donnell’s process, unearthing new terrain and allowing for a conversation between the potential found in the digital and the honesty of the analogue. Shifting between screen, street and studio, compositions are transformed and unlocked as dynamic animations with shifting perspectives that reimagine the artist’s accumulated knowledge and reframe his questions of the world.

Tokyo / Japan

Born in Tokyo in 1972, ESOW discovered graffiti at the age of 17 when he moved to the U.S. Immersed in the ethereal aura of the Edo period’s cultural legacy, he nurtured his artistic essence and developed a style that exists in the realm of the extraordinary. With strokes of ingenuity and hues of innovation, he has painted a visual symphony, whispering secrets that only the discerning eye can decipher.

His masterpieces unveil myriad facets of enchanting Japanese culture, conveyed through a kaleido- scope of vivid mediums. These works dance not only upon the canvas but also extend to murals, timber panels, and even transcend into the realm of three-dimensional wonder. Amidst the vibrant history of graffiti, ESOW offers a glimpse of ethereal grace nestled within its rugged embrace.

“The Varicolored World” encapsulates the essence of humanity at large. It can signify prosperity and exaggeration, or represent the unique dreams and fantasies that dwell within each of us.

In the exhibition “ESOW’S WONDERLAND,” the artist ESOW offers a candid lens into the life of a middle-aged Japanese man, presenting it with humor and whimsy. The exhibition showcases ESOW’s creative origins through a diverse array of mediums, including canvas, woodblock prints, and three-dimensional works. The goal of this exhibition is to inspire viewers to embrace more colorful and humorous imaginations in their everyday lives.

Detroit / USA

Entirely self-taught, Jason REVOK is known for pushing creative boundaries that began in the street. Although his story begins with graffiti, the artist has spent the last decade focusing on his studio practice and the evolution of process and concept. Refusing to be limited by his early recognition, REVOK allows only certain elements from graffiti culture to transition to his contemporary work—modest materials and industrial tools, ingenuity, his name—but his proclivity towards minimalism and post-painterly abstraction has become the driving force behind his practice. Examining the question of authorship from start to finish, REVOK has developed systematic yet imperfect tools to carry out his vision and has created a number of unmistakable bodies of work. His bold, balanced, geometry is heightened by the personal and imperfect sleight of the human hand.

REVOK has exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles as well as the Pasadena Museum of California Art; in galleries and special projects in New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Dubai; and is in important private collections worldwide.

Clara Grabowiecki

Argentina

Clara Grabowiecki is an Argentine visual artist born in Buenos Aires in 1983. She studied in the studio of the prestigious Argentine visual artist Carlos Gorriarena, with whom she deepened her interest in artistic research into color. Her influence is reflected in a radical vision of art that includes a particular rigor and commitment in the way she approaches her work. In 2008, she was selected as artist-in-residence at the renowned Takt Berlin Artist Residency, an experience that broadened her creative horizons and fundamentally changed her artistic outlook. In 2016, driven by her curiosity, Clara moved to Europe, where she had the opportunity to immerse herself in the local art scene and make meaningful connections with other contemporary artists. There, she completed a Master’s degree in Art and Design at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Throughout her career, she has exhibited her art pieces between Buenos Aires, Berlin, Beijing, Barcelona, Miami and London, in renowned spaces such as the San Martín Cultural Center, the Recoleta Cultural Center, Appetite Contemporary Art, ArteBA, Jardín Oculto, Wir Gallery, Big Sur, Fábrica Escocesa, La Virreina Centro de la Imagen, among others. Her work has been an integral part of notable festivals and exhibitions, such as LOOP, Visual Brasil and the Teorema Festival. His work has been featured in influential publications such as Diario Clarín, Revista Ramona, Arte al Día, Revista Ulisses and Wicked Mag.

Clara Grabowiecki’s art pieces are a journey into an inner cosmos. Moving from the figurative to the abstract, the images construct cosmologies of the imagination. The human and non-human worlds interact in inter-species entanglements that stretch from dogs to botanical elements and spiral up to atomic levels. A mesh of reality and understanding is woven through physical and dream worlds that tell the story of our infinitely complex interconnectedness. The surface of the painting is the arena in which Grabowiecki uses color and form to align vibratory tendencies. The images are recognizable by their color palette, which does not shy away from tropical tones and metallic reflections that hark back to the collective unconscious of the cultural psyche. The image contains both science fiction and ancient narratives in a timeless suspension. The space of the mind is represented as a crystallized gesture towards truth and purity. Crystal symbolizes the purity of the soul as matter compresses into transparency.

Angelo Repetto

Zürich / Switzerland

Angelo Repetto (40) is a musical artist who lives and works in Zurich.

Angelo Repetto’s music can increasingly be deciphered as a psychedelic spectrum of laid-back pop, herbaceous synthesizer music and poetic musical universes. Since 2005, when he played with his first band Telaphones, he has become an active and essential part of the Swiss music scene. In doing so, he is constantly evolving, for the journey is profound and there is no goal; rather, for him it is a process of self-knowledge and exploration of musical diversity.

He is part of various projects such as Wolfman, which Repetto has been pursuing with Katerina Stoykova since 2013, or the Angelo Repetto Trio with Markus Kenel and Nicolas Stocker, whose album Sundown Explosion, released on Subject to Restriction Discs, is the basis. With his father Marco Repetto, he regularly plays live on special occasions, and with Chahida Rezgueni, he emerges into poetic worlds under the name rezguenirepetto. With his latest project Konstant! he explores dark, driven post-punk worlds with Nicolas Balmer.

He is currently working on a solo album in Swiss German under the pseudonym ANGI. An intimate weaving of knowledge acquired over the last 25 years of musical and life experience.

What all these projects have in common is Angelo Repetto’s unique musical aesthetic, with its ever-present gentle energy.

Or in his words:

“The sound you have in your head and the sound that comes out of your heart are often two different things. Bringing this dissonance down to a line is the greatest challenge. To produce music that is in harmony with itself is, for me, the definition of good music. And it’s not the quality that counts, but the vibe.
