Switzerland

Rosalie Evard (b. 1994, Couvet) lives and works between Neuchâtel and Valangin. Trained at the Académie de Meuron and the École Jean-Sablé in Versailles, she develops a figurative pictorial practice centered on portraiture. Drawing on her research and digital collages made from found or personal images, she composes acrylic and oil paintings where identities fragment and reassemble in scenes with surreal overtones.

Her work has been presented at the La Chaux-de-Fonds Biennale, Galerie Lange et Pult, and Panart. Constantly evolving, her practice is shaped by the contexts she encounters. In 2024, a residency in Berlin marked a turning point; she continues this momentum in spring 2025 with Art Valais, immersed in the Alpine landscape.

Solomostry

Milan / Italy

Solomostry is an Italian artist who joined the graffiti movement in Milan in 2000, when he was just 14. At the time, the Milan underground was covered with wild graffiti on walls and signs, as well as tags. He was immediately fascinated by this phenomenon. In his early days, he was part of three different crews and practiced graffiti writing for the next five years.

When he began collaborating as a set designer on techno club nights, he realized that graffiti writing was not a suitable subject for his artistic expression. He then began to create a character who would come to life during these techno nights in Milan’s clubs: SOLOMOSTRY. The artist began drawing his first large monsters at the back of the stage, overlooking the crowd dancing until the early hours of the morning. A monster born of darkness and techno music.

Solomostry is Italian for “only monsters”. A monochrome monster made up of lines with imposing, fixed eyes. Solomostry is not only the main character in the artist’s works, it’s also his pseudonym. Solomostry has a degree in graphic design and art direction.
and works from his studio in Milan.

In Solomosty’s artistic practice, the streets represent the place where he discovered a unique art form as well as a kind of playground where he dares new techniques, new tools and new ideas without any rules. Freedom in the street means a lot to him. In the studio, he reflects and digests what he has just experienced on the street, and tries to put it into practice and manifest it in his studio paintings.

Solomostry draws its inspiration from whatever catches its eye. He is inspired by the street itself, its inhabitants, friends, loved ones and rivals. He is convinced that travel, but also information and sensory experience are sources of inspiration – always ongoing.

Berlin / Germany

A native of Mauritius, MODE 2 is a major artist in global Hip Hop culture, and a pioneer of post-New York graffiti. In 1985, he initiated the creation of The Chrome Angelz (TCA) crew and has had a considerable influence on figurative art. He excelled at depicting characters, and gained notoriety when he was published on the cover of “Spraycan Art” in 1987.

Already working on canvas, he began exhibiting his art pieces in galleries in 1995 and is now a major player on the international contemporary scene. The harmony that emerges from his compositions highlights the link between artistic disciplines, all of which come together in a culture that goes far beyond the name Hip Hop. MODE 2 is the icon of an aesthetic of movement, interweaving and rhythm.

Casablanca / Morocco

Ed Oner, whose real name is Mohamed Touirs, is a Moroccan street artist born in Casablanca in 1994. After nine years of graffiti, he turned to street art and developed a passion for philately, an art form that blends typography and drawing. He transforms stamps into large-scale works on walls and facades, helping to promote Moroccan culture.

Ed Oner is a pillar of the Moroccan graffiti scene, founder of the first Rencontre des écrivains graffeurs marocains and of the Taraza graphic art collective. He constantly explores various graphic and aesthetic universes such as comics, illustration and painting. A discreet observer of these scenes, unperturbed by the passage of time, he uses line, contour and color to create striking characters, reflections of universal beings who observe and question the viewer.

Invited to exhibit and paint around the world for over 20 years, he brings his deep knowledge of urban cultures and his passion for sharing and connecting to every journey.

His work as an illustrator completes the balance he seeks between abstraction and narrative, between emotion and mastery. An artist whose mastery of aerosol is recognized worldwide, Serval has been studying and working for several years to deepen the links between his work as a painter, his life as a dancer and the texts he writes in the course of his projects.

Resident artist at the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire de Genève since 2016, his abstractions lead to a depth of reflection and sharing that his years of university studies have shaped both in terms of subject matter and accessibility, from urban spaces to gallery canvases.

Bordeaux / France

Ardpg was born in Périgueux in 1980. He has been exhibiting his work since 2003 in France and abroad. He currently lives and works in Bordeaux.

The artist began painting via graffiti in the 1990s. In the early 2000s, when graffiti had not yet become a trend in the art world, the artist began working on canvas. Ardpg seeks to color our daily lives and awaken our appreciation of urban art as an integral part of our environment. He is not attached to the term “street art”, which for him is too simplistic. He prefers to be called the creator of our everyday urban life.

The contrasts used in the versus series allow the eye to lose itself in the work as a whole between past and present, then choose its landscape, past or present, to discover a new work. His love of words and art history are the two axes he develops in his work with galleries and institutions.

At a time when everything is just images thrown at us at breakneck speed, ARDPG wants viewers to stop and take the time to decipher the work. The more time he spends, the more the reading expands and takes on volume.

Alcina Ribeiro Hamdi, born in 1985, in the heart of the Swiss mountains. After a brief spell at university in Barcelona studying translation and interpreting, she decided to leave the benches to study various alternative and mystical therapies in order to understand the human being and his powerful resilience in a holistic way. Exploring the inside as well as the outside by traveling allows her to write more alertly.

She co-created Éditions À l’Envers, putting her hands in ink to print precious art books in intaglio. Then, for a time, she ceased her publishing activities and embarked on a long journey, inspiring a project of videos and poems read aloud, as well as several writings. The company was then renamed Éditons Larguer les Amarres. She has published two collections of poems, “froissée” followed by “aurore”, and is launching a series of texts set to voice, the first of which is available on Spotify and elsewhere.
