At the initiative of the “Aproz, tout un village” association, the village’s former wastewater treatment plant has been transformed into a unique playground, at the heart of a participatory art project. Artist Jasm One has created a large-scale mural inspired by the play and forms of nature, where plants, animals and micro-organisms merge in abstract harmony. The motifs play happily with each other, while their bright colors breathe new energy into this formerly industrial space. <\/p>\n
At the center of this moving composition, a circle embodies fluid, living water. This point of gravity links the art piece to the history of the site, once dedicated to wastewater treatment, while evoking the identity of Aproz, renowned for its natural springs and renowned mineral water. <\/p>\n
The creation of ‘Enjeu’ brought together nearly 200 children, who became actors in this transformation. Their contributions, under the guidance of the artist, helped reinvent the site, combining art and community involvement. More than a simple embellishment, this art piece is a tribute to the community’s ability to transform its environment, bringing creativity and vitality to a public place. <\/p>\n
Although participatory, ‘Enjeu’ achieves museum-quality. To achieve this, Jasm One devised a process that was both playful and ingenious. The wall, like a huge coloring sheet, was first prepared with drawn outlines, leaving the children the fun task of filling in these spaces and learning the art of spray painting. The artist then added the final touches to sublimate the collective work. <\/p>\n
Enjeu’ marks the meeting of art and urban planning, imagination and reality, offering the people of Aproz a place where the imagination can flourish. This mural embodies the expression of a collective dynamic, where every stroke and every color tells the story of a community in motion. <\/p>\n
