Jasm One

Lausanne / Switzerland

Founder of Art Valais OPEN AIR MUSEUM, Jasm One is an artist of Swiss and Tunisian origin. Born in Geneva in 1983, he grew up in Valais, lives in Lausanne and now works off the beaten track to sow the seeds of his art in the four corners of the globe.

A graffiti artist and graduate of EDHEA – Ecole de design et haute école d’art (formerly ECAV), Jasm One has made a name for himself through his eclectic artistic vision and career.

A committed artist and curator, he strives to build bridges between cultures, territories, individuals and ideas. His art is a reflection on what distinguishes us, surrounds us and binds us – to space, to time, to others, to ourselves.

Her multi-disciplinary work is understood and intersects around the theme of “the trace”, a symbol of memory, imprint and existence, both individual and collective. The strength of his work lies not only in its visual quality and artistic relevance, but also in its ability to reveal identity, practices and processes, following the trace as a vector of knowledge and construction, essential to any society.
