The art piece

In the day-care center of the Foyer pour candidats réfugiés in Saint-Gingolph, a joyful and symbolic art piece has been created. Sunrise’, this vibrant, multicolored sun, is the fruit of the collective efforts of the home’s children, aged 3 to 5. Each dot, each touch of color, symbolizes a child, an individual, whose imprint is inscribed in this luminous art piece.

Sunrise’ embodies a universal message: the union of cultures, generations and histories. Together, these dots, deposited like so many traces of life, form a harmonious, radiant whole, a metaphor for a community uniting for a luminous future. The bright colors of this art piece speak of life, joy and the blend of cultures that makes this place so rich.

Far from being just an artistic project, ‘Sunrise’ is destined to leave a mark on the hearts of children who, on leaving home, will remember this benevolent sun, a source of light that will continue to shine in their path.
